LED lighting for laying hens

Light is a fundamental factor for the well-being of laying hens because it influences their productive and reproductive activity. LED lighting systems are ideal for ensuring a stable, homogeneous light that respects the natural cycle of hours of light and hours of darkness. The high frequency LED lights allow, in fact, to manage the photoperiod in a fluid way without causing annoying light flickering. The flickering of light, typical of incandescent lamps, can reduce the welfare of laying hens and cause negative effects such as stress, nervousness and decreased productivity. Through the light management system you can therefore simulate sunrise, sunset and intensity variations during the day in order to recreate the parameters that we find in nature and thus favor the growth of animals and regular egg laying.
